POSITION OVERVIEW
LoadUp is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our fast-growing team. As the first point of contact for prospective commercial clients, you’ll play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads for our sustainable, scalable junk removal and logistics solutions.
This is a high-impact role focused on outbound prospecting, lead generation, and building the early-stage sales pipeline. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to uncover opportunities, support strategic growth initiatives, and help expand LoadUp’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage potential business clients through cold-calling, email outreach, and social selling.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify prospects based on their needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making process to ensure a good fit.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of activities and lead statuses in HubSpot and ensure clean, up-to-date data to support forecasting and performance tracking.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives and Sales Managers.
- Follow-Up Strategy: Execute personalized, multi-touch cadences to re-engage cold or dormant leads.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to improve targeting and messaging.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or Inside Sales role.
- Proven success in Mid to Enterprise-level prospecting.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing tools (especially HubSpot).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a resilient, goal-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in a high-activity environment with performance targets.

- Monthly Qualified Meetings Booked (MQMBs)
- Lead-to-Opportunity Conversion Rate
- Outbound Activity Volume (Calls, Emails, Social Touches)
