About the Role

LoadUp is hiring a Head of Growth Marketing to own our growth engine across DTC and marketplace channels. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role based onsite at Avalon in Alpharetta, GA — with direct influence over revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and long-term customer value.

You'll own the strategy and execution of performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, and marketplace growth, leading a high-performing team and reporting to executive leadership.

What You'll Own

Growth Strategy & Performance Marketing

• Define and own the growth marketing strategy across direct-to-consumer (DTC) and marketplace channels, aligning acquisition, retention, monetization, and revenue growth with company OKRs

• Lead and optimize seven-figure media budgets across paid social, paid search, programmatic advertising, CTV, and affiliate marketing (Meta, Google, and beyond)

• Optimize marketing investment against CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rate, and unit economics

• Develop channel-level budget allocation strategies based on performance, incrementality, and growth potential

Marketplace Growth

• Grow both sides of our marketplace: customer demand and the Loader supply that fulfills it.

• Partner with Operations so that acquisition plans and provider capacity stay aligned market by market.

Experimentation, Measurement & AI

• Build a disciplined testing program across creative, landing pages, funnels, pricing, and onboarding.

• Own attribution, LTV/CAC modeling, and executive-level growth dashboards, working with our data team using SQL and BI tools.

• Build on LoadUp's AI-forward culture by expanding how the growth team uses AI and automation in creative production, campaign and budget optimization, and reporting.

Lifecycle & Retention

• Build and scale lifecycle programs across email, SMS, and in-product touchpoints that drive repeat bookings, referrals, and customer lifetime value.

Team Leadership

• Lead a team of five: Content & Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Marketing Automation & Operations Lead, Brand & Creative Manager, AI Content Editor, and Multimedia Producer.

• Report to the President and present growth plans and results to the executive team.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to prioritize growth initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years in growth, performance, or digital marketing, including 3+ years leading teams.

• Experience scaling a DTC, marketplace, or consumer platform business.

• A track record of owning a seven-figure annual paid media budget and being accountable for results.

• Hands-on fluency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, analytics and attribution tools, and experimentation platforms.

• A hands-on web development background (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern CMS or site-building tools). You've built websites yourself, so you can scope work accurately, give developers clear direction, review what ships, and step in when needed.

• Comfort working with data: you can write or read SQL, build a model, and turn numbers into decisions.

• Clear executive communication and the ability to align teams across functions.

• You've led growth for a two-sided marketplace and know how to balance supply and demand.

• Experience in home services, on-demand, logistics, or local services.

• You've already brought AI tools into a marketing team's daily work.
